Description


HoopLife Basketball Training Academy is currently seeking Experienced Basketball Coaches who are dependable, professional and can work independently.


The chosen candidates will be required to have a strong work ethic and leadership qualities, background in basketball and are decisive decision makers on the floor. This position is responsible for maintaining the flow of our 1-Hour Sessions focusing on the atmosphere, coordination and the athletes overall experience.


This is a part time position with opportunities available for weekdays and weekends, as well there are opportunities for full time coaching.


What you'll do:


  • Coach our 1-Hour Weekly Sessions
    • Boys & Girls ages: 7-10, 11-13, 14-18
    • Lead / coach advanced and beginner sessions
    • 60 min of court time per session
    • Ensure 1-Hour session template is followed


  • Coach our Seasonal Camps
    • Boys ages: 6-10, 11-13, 14-18
    • Girls ages: 6-12, 13-18
    • Lead / coach camps
    • 2-4 hours of court time per camp
    • Ensure camp template is followed


  • Coach a Team in the HoopLife League
    • 16 regular season game games plus playoffs
    • 20 team practices
    • All star games


  • Greet athletes and parents
    • Build relationships through greeting and dismissing athletes and parents upon arrival / departure
    • Ensure all goods / equipment are taken at sessions end


  • Ensure athletes are in designated group
    • Upon athletes entry, direct them to the proper elite or beginner station
    • If necessary, place athlete in group that best suits them. Communicate exchange with parent

What is HoopLife?


HoopLife is the largest basketball skills training academy in Saskatchewan. We are based out of Regina and offer basketball and character development training to beginner and elite athletes. HoopLife was founded in 2017 with the goal of bringing next level basketball training and a welcoming culture that athletes thrive in.


Since opening, we have seen unprecedented growth with thousands of kids coming to HoopLife. Our purpose is to develop every child into people of character on and off the court. We believe that by using basketball as a vessel athletes can learn important lessons that are carried throughout life.
